PARTY OF THE FUTURE
Drawing inspiration from our country’s history, NEED believes individuals, not government, make the best decision; all people are entitled to equal rights and opportunities; and decisions are best made close to home.
NEED envisions making government more effective and efficient, spurring economic growththrough social economic transformation and equitable sharing of natural resources together with putting more power in the hands of Ugandans.
NEED also recognises the fact that the slow, bloated, top-down bureaucracy management of our country is out of date. The Party works to give Ugandans more choices in agriculture, in health, in education, in energy and mineral resources, and in the economy – and to the free individuals and families from the intrusive overreach of bottle-necks in service delivery.
PARTY STRENGTH
With a mission of createing an ideology that can speak to the need of all Ugandans, NEED maintains strength through its core principles of economic freedoms and equal opportunity which is relevant today as at out founding, their-in embedded is the roadmap to Uganda’s renewal in an interconnected world. Its upon this conviction that we have managed to establish leadership party structures from across all the original 15 regions namely; Busoga, Buganda, Bugisu, Bukeddi, Teso, Lango, Acholi, Sebei, karamoja, West Nile, Bunyoro, Rwenzori, Tooro, Kigezi and Ankole.
PARTY OF VISION
The 2021 electoral campaign by our President Jospeh Kabuleta emboded the Party’s traditional concern for the economic empowerment under the philosophy tailored towards Uganda’s economic independence “because there is a need”.
Based on that observation, NEED carries a vision of “ensuring that all Ugandans are aware of their resource heritage that is unique to their region and are actively pursuing equitable sharing of those resources”, this vision is explained under a narrative that states that: “Two visions of the future, two fundamentally different ways of governing – the government of pessimism and fear limits the hope, confidence, and growth of our people. The incumbent government sees Ugandans only as merely their personel property. Our government shall serve all the people of Uganda as individuals with their own personal aspirations. Ugandans ought to live in a country that is rewarding, able to offer the best possible service delivery mechanisms, foster accelerated development, make social, economic and sustainable political contributions.
NEED POLICY STATEMENT
THEREFORE: we stand for equitable sharing of Natural resources and establishment of Regional governments which came together in 1962 to create our country as stipulated in the Odoki report.
“Obwenkanya mungabana ye byobugaga byegwanga obyensibo nenfuga eye bitundu ebikola Uganda”.
We believe that in so doing, our leadership shall be able to put “Money in your pocket!” Sente mu nsawo!, hera mufukoni, esiliginyi wosawu!
NEED’s pursuit of economic growth and development by delivery of unparalleled social, economic and political independence of all will increase governance capacity and contribute to quality living standards of Ugandans.
In addition to the economic stability and wealth, NEED endeavors to enrich Ugandans in many ways, including building a sense of pride and purpose for life.
WELCOME TO NEED!
